“My strongest professional quality is my ability to build trust and long-term relationships, whether with clients, colleagues, or stakeholders”
Danny Ibrahim,
KeyRate Mortgage
For Travis Love, mortgage broking isn’t just a numbers game; it’s about empowering clients. As a finance strategist at Infinity Group Australia, he blends a passion for property with a drive to deliver tailored outcomes that go far beyond securing a loan.
“I’m seeking outcomes that genuinely impact and elevate my clients’ lives,” he says. “Rather than jumping straight to loan options, I dig deeper. Such as what does success look like for them, not only today but also in 5 or 10 years down the road.”
Love’s journey into finance began early, with a deliberate step into property investment at just 18. “I’d say my career has been a blend of both intention and opportunity,” he explains. “I didn’t have every detail mapped out, but I was always big on numbers and finding solutions.” By 19, he was already working in finance.
Now, as one of AB’s 5-Star Brokers 2025, Love sees industry recognition as more than professional validation; it’s a reflection of his client-centric philosophy. “It means the world to me,” he says. “These awards are based on real client reviews; it reaffirms that what I’m doing is more than just broking loans – I’m building relationships and delivering lasting value.”
Love has also crafted a dedicated approach to client service. “The key to my success over the past year has been consistent communication and a client-first mindset. I treat every home loan application as if it were my own.” Education also plays a pivotal role in this model. “I make sure clients feel informed, supported and valued – not just during the loan process, but long after settlement.”
At Infinity Finance, Love leads with an innovative approach to client acquisition. Rather than relying on traditional advertising, the firm attracts clients through its in-house financial literacy masterclass. “It sets the tone for everything,” he says. “By focusing on financial literacy first, using our unique debt reduction program, we ensure our clients feel confident in their decisions and truly understand the products available to them.”
When it comes to understanding client goals, Love listens first and acts second. This deep-dive approach allows him to design solutions that align with broader financial strategies, ensuring that loans serve as tools for long-term growth, not short-term fixes.
Love specialises in investment property finance and strategic lending for wealth creation. Whether it’s a first-time investor or seasoned property owner, he structures loans to maximise future opportunities, manage equity efficiently and support long-term objectives. His strategies are often crafted in collaboration with clients’ accountants and financial planners to ensure full alignment.
Navigating a constantly shifting lending environment is no small task, but Love thrives on it. “I stay current through regular webinars and stay connected with BDMs’ lender updates. I also use technology to streamline research and track policy changes efficiently,” he adds. “That frees up more time to focus on the client, where it really matters. Satisfaction comes from a client feeling confident not just in the outcome, but in how they got there.”
