Profile
Mo Kazal brought a banker’s grounding to broking. The finance strategist and NSW team leader at Infinity Group Australia holds a Bachelor of Business, major in finance and law from the University of Technology Sydney and spent time across three of the major Australian banks, building a technical foundation in lending, credit assessment and financial structuring.
Kazal says, “I’ve always been drawn to finance, but what really sparked my passion was experiencing firsthand the power of strategic structuring, property investing and long-term wealth creation.”
Rather than simply securing finance, he looks at a client’s total financial position and structures it to support debt reduction, tax optimisation and wealth creation through property investment. “What sets me apart is my focus on strategy over transactions,” says Kazal. His specialisation centres on correct finance structuring, designing lending that meets a client’s immediate needs while positioning them for long-term growth, so that debt works strategically rather than simply being serviced.
The scale of what that approach has built is considerable. Kazal has assisted more than 300 clients and settled over $200 million in lending in FY2026, work recognised through both national and internal awards. He is quick to reframe the figure. “The number itself is less important than what it represents,” he says. Kazal points instead to hard work, consistency and the trust that hundreds of clients have placed in him, which is the achievement he is most proud of.

Kazal’s process is experienced and structured, starting with the right questions early to map a client’s goals and full financial position. He identifies key issues upfront so they can be addressed proactively, then translates what he finds into a clear, tailored strategy balancing immediate needs with long-term objectives. Behind it sits a blend of technical lending knowledge, an understanding of legal and accounting frameworks and plain communication. Kazal wants clients to understand how and why an outcome was reached, not just the result. “Education is a key part of my approach as it empowers clients to make confident, informed decisions both now and in the future,” he says.
Leadership has become part of the role since his promotion to NSW team leader, where he manages eight brokers and finance strategists and oversees a broader team of more than 30, including support staff, across two offices. He approaches the work with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership, mindful that clients are trusting him with some of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. What drives Kazal’s work is a long-term mindset: “I believe success comes from consistently delivering value and never becoming complacent.”
For all the technical grounding, what keeps Kazal motivated is seeing the outcomes his clients achieve, and he remains focused on learning, evolving and raising the standard of what he can deliver for his clients, his team and the business. To him, success is not a destination, but the value created for the people who trust him with their financial future.
